I have the info session scheduled on sept 10th. I don't have to complete the one way interview until 24 hours before right? I desire to make sure I understood it correctly. Cheers!

Yep, I emailed them about it before I did mine and they said someday before the zoom session. But you have similar a month, and the interview is super easy (mine was fun) and takes similar 15 minutes. So why not complete it asap?

Thank you so much! Information technology'south my first interview and I'chiliad super nervous well-nigh it, especially bc of the format. I took snapshot and did terrible, so I am trying to take as much time to practice.

I really didn't like snapshot either but it wasn't similar snapshot at all! Definitely practice why osteopathic medicine though. The other questions I got were fun to answer too. There is also an option for a mock recording. You'll do great!!

You take 2 minutes to introduce yourself, and then 90 seconds per question for 5 questions after that. If yous're still speaking when the time expires, it cuts you off. You but have 1 take a chance to record yourself.
The questions are from "categories" simply are randomly generated. I promise this helps. Expert luck!

I'thousand not sure if their rules for when to complete the interview inverse. I received my information session link today, and in the email they said that the video interview has to be submitted by Mon, at 8am, the week of your information session. Just wanted to let yous know!

Hmm mine didn't say anything similar that. They too said I could complete it someday before my info session. This was for the SH campus... It seems as though each campus has their own instructions! @caffieneaddict @megan123

Hullo all,

Looking for a proposition. 1 of my Science LORs is from a niche course in biotechnology from my university'south entomology (insect science) department. Anecdotally, two schools this cycle did Not accept this every bit a science LOR, even after forwarding a syllabus, but over 20 schools already have completed my file w/o issues.

Do yous guys think I should email LECOM and conversation about this now, or wait till next calendar week's group interview session for them to auto-populate the folder on the portal.

It wouldn't be too fun to interview and not have letters approved

EDIT: Here are the requirements from LECOM's site

• A letter of the alphabet of recommendation from a pre-professional or similar committee; or
• Ii letters of recommendation from undergraduate or graduate higher/academy, science professors.
• A letter of recommendation from an osteopathic physician is recommended.

Hey, I would recommend talking to them about information technology right now. No point in delaying the conversation, if they accept it they accept it, if they don't, and then unfortunately you'd but have to move on/obtain another science LOR if possible.

Hi at that place! Would someone who has interviewed be kind enough to reply this question for me. Exercise we have 2 min to introduce ourself or is it innovate ourself/why medicine? I wasn't sure if I should contain why medicine into my introduction or if this is a split up question. I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thank you and so much!!!

Anyone that wants to be neurotic in some other grade can sign up for the USPS informed commitment and then that y'all get a scan of all your mail each day so y'all will know when you lot are going to receive the post-II alphabetic character

I recollect everybody gets different questions but mine were the usual introduction (ii min), why osteopathic med (1.5 min), one generic upstanding scenario which could exist answered with a fiddling scrap of empathy and common sense (1.v min), one question about a hobby (i.five min), and ane question about another career path (1.5 min). They were all really dainty questions and honestly the but "force per unit area" was the small time frame. Just do a few times on speaking concisely, and you'll be fine. And so the info session is super fun and yous get to meet potential future classmates! My group was GREAT, nosotros all clicked, it was a blast (which makes me think that this schoolhouse is consequent with the kinds of people information technology'due south interviewing).
